Mike Klingler on Developing Your Business With Purpose
Posted on August 19th, 2010 in The Teach Jim Show | 16 Comments »
Mike Klingler takes time to “Teach” Jim just how to create big success in a very short period of time.
How would it be to hit the target every time? Mike shares powerful insights on how to work through the noise and clamor of the day to triumphantly implement you vision of tomorrow by preparing a detailed plan and staying with it.
Here are some thoughts from the show. I think you will see a theme and pattern to help you reach the success you desire. Enjoy the thoughts. Listen to the show. Reinforce your path to success.
- A success mindset prepares you to reach extreme goals.
- You vision for your life should be what drives what you do today.
- Your vision is the juice. But you have to have the plan. The more clear your plan the better your chances.
- How can you experience the success you desire? What is YOUR vision? What do you want your life to be like? Do you want to be efficient? Are you effective? When you have a plan, detailed out you have the clarity you need.
- You need a success mindset. This involves an emotionally maturity and technical process which includes pragmatic Step by Step Plan.
- So important to have a clear picture of what you want to accomplish. Create in extreme detail what you have in your plan. Never let anything supersede what you already have in my plan. Everything else fits or not based on your plan.
- You must have a master plan with extreme details. You can only connect with one thing at a time and pay attention to it. Plug into each message one at a time when it is in line with your master plan. When you have the clear details of every step along the process. You know just what the next step is.
- Create a really clear plan of your end goal. Break it down to all the details. Know what you want to create. What is it you want to do?
- You can create what you want to create with or without what popped into my email box.
I hope you enjoy the show,

Hey Jim,
Rock solid points on success planning. It is so important to stay tuned into the right mind set. I have a large family. (5 kids and a wife) and distractions come left and right. If I don’t plan out the steps to reach my vision. Not only do I lose, but my family does too!
Thanks for the great blog post. Keep them coming!

Hey Jim,
It all starts with a clear, concise plan. Without that we tend to wander all over the place without ever accomplishing anything.
Mike Klinger is a name I’m sure most have heard online and has proven himself to be one to follow and learn from.
Thanks for passing on this information. I look forward to networking!!

I love the bullet points you are sharing here. They are so true. I know that now. But it took me a while to figure it out. What happened to me, is probably happening to many others also. Every time I used to have a plan and it sounded really good, I would start writing my plan. I would do this in a lot of detail (or so I thought), and then someone else would make a suggestion that also made a lot of sense. I would easily jump from my plan into the next “big” adventure. As a result nothing gets done. You are just spinning your wheels. Although that is not entirely true either. Even though you don’t have an actual business up and running, you do learn a lot. The trick is to, one day, say to yourself that it is time to start being serious about your business. When you reach that point you have learned enough to make it on your own. That is when your bullet points start having meaning. That is when you are ready to jump in and truly start your own business.

Hi Jim,
great information. Thank you.
Mike Klingler has a lot to offer and I have learned from him too.
It all start in the Mind, our thinking. Clarity and Details help.
I like the visual version as well, as in a Vision Board on the Wall and on the Computer.
Much appreciated.
To your Vision!

Thank you each for the comments.
Yorinda – Right on. Vision – Seeing the unseen.
Karin – What a journey. Thank you for sharing. Like you I’m learning my perception of “detail” is not necessarily the level of clear detail I need to succeed in reality. Thx.
Howie – We agree it needs to be a “clear, concise plan”. So it is we each wrestle how does the visionary inside of us get it nailed down that tight? – Work on your vision until it is congruent with who you are and your skill set. Then… concise and clear are possible.
Gary – I love that word “revisit”. Do you include revisit as part of your Weekly Method of Operation (WMO) or is it ongoing. I’m adding it to mine. THX.
Great post Jim. I agree totally with what Mike has to say. If you look at the overall picture count how many times he uses mindset or talks about mindset and then goals and of course a plan which is taking action.
Love it,
Michael
Hi Jim,
Good stuff. Mike is very knowledgeable and what he says is point on. I especially like your bullet point “Your vision is the juice. But you have to have the plan. The more clear your plan the better your chances.” I believe that just sums it up perfectly.
And I got a kick out of your last point
– so true – there is no “magic” pill.
Enjoyed the audio, thanks for sharing. Make it a Great Day!
I especially liked this part here.
“# A success mindset prepares you to reach extreme goals.”
The idea of reaching extreme goals just sounds so exciting! And I do agree that a success mindset is an absolute must have!
Thank you for this.

Thanks for putting all these great points together for us. I totally agree with Karin. It is so easy to get distracted by what you think will work. At some point it is time to get down to business.
Great points here.I agree your vision is your juice. I also feel you need a concise plan. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Jim,
Mike Klingler is an awesome guy and you make some awesome points here in your post. It was actually one of Klinglers courses that was the course that I had ever bought online. Its because of him that I am on Twitter. Many thanks.
And one of the most important things to do after all of this is done is review and visualize these goals and achievements already accomplished each day!
Great post Jim. All necessary ingredients to developing and successful business. Thanks for sharing.
Have a great day!

Having a plan is so important in so many things in life. Writing down those ideas and visions you see in your mind start the process and gives you something to review and to improve upon. Even when you don’t know what to do next in your plan often times just doing something in that direction will light the way for the next step.
Great post!

Hi Jim. I love the bullet points that you made in this post. I’m a single parent of two young children. If I didn’t schedule and prioritize my days nothing would get done. My mentor taught me early on the importance of having a schedule that I can live into. Of course this all depends on your mindset….if you think you can, you’re right.

Hello Jim,
Great post. I remember watching the winter Olympics a few months ago and there was one event, the women’s slalom I thing where all the athletes were going through all the twists and turns in their mind before they even began. The had a plan, they visualized it and then went for it.
Inspiring information. Thank you
